The rule that produced this list

Stated so you can disagree with it rather than with us: a document appears here if it is a Presidential Document, or the issuing agency flagged it significant under E.O. 12866, or it is a rule or proposed rule that carries a comment deadline or an effective date.

Nothing is filtered out of the full list below — this is an ordering, not a filter.

RuleHomeland Security DepartmentCoast Guard

Safety Zone; Brownsville Ship Channel, Brownsville, TX

The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards associated with an over-sized dead ship tow transiting the area. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Corpus Christi, or their designated representative.

Virginia: Approval of State Coal Combustion Residuals Permit Program

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or the Agency) is approving Virginia's coal combustion residuals (CCR) permit program under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). After reviewing the CCR permit program application submitted by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VADEQ), EPA has determined that Virginia's partial CCR permit program meets the standard for approval under RCRA. Virginia's CCR permit program will operate in lieu of the Federal CCR program with the exception of the specific provisions noted below.

Proposed RuleEnvironmental Protection Agency

Utah Underground Injection Control Program; Class VI Primacy

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or Agency) has received a complete Underground Injection Control (UIC) program revision application from the State of Utah, requesting primary enforcement responsibility (primacy) for Class VI injection wells under Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) section 1422. The EPA's approval of the State's UIC program revision application would allow the Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil, Gas and Mining (DOGM) to issue and enforce compliance with UIC Class VI permits for injection wells used for geologic carbon sequestration. In this action, the EPA proposes to approve Utah's application to implement the UIC program for Class VI injection wells located within the State, except those on Indian lands for which the EPA retains primacy. The EPA has determined that Utah's UIC Class VI program meets Federal requirements for primacy under SDWA section 1422 and the applicable implementing regulations in 40 CFR parts 144, 145, and 146.

The Coast Guard is proposing to alter the operating schedule that governs the Eighth Street Bridge, mile 0.29 and the Tenth Street Bridge, mile 0.43, over the Manitowoc River, in the town of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The City of Manitowoc has requested a full review of the current bridge regulations to alleviate vehicle congestion in downtown Manitowoc and to operate both bridges remotely. On May 21, 2025, we published an interim rule requesting comments in the Federal Register. We are now proposing to include remote operations for the drawbridges. We invite your comments on this proposed rulemaking.

Pursuant to RCRA, the EPA is taking direct final action to codify the approval of Nevada's revised UST Program and incorporate by reference those provisions of Nevada's statutes and regulations that the EPA has determined meet the requirements for approval.

Airworthiness Directives; General Electric Company Engines

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain General Electric Company (GE) Model CF34-8C1, CF34-8C5, CF34- 8C5A1, CF34-8C5A2, CF34-8C5B1, CF34-8E2, CF34-8E2A1, CF34-8E5, CF34- 8E5A1, CF34-8E5A2, CF34-8E5A2HA, CF34-8E6, and CF34-8E6A1 engines. This AD was prompted by reports of in-flight "Engine Degraded" messages from the engine indicating and crew alerting system (EICAS) due to corrosion of the variable geometry (VG) system actuator. This AD requires removing certain electronic engine control (EEC) full authority digital electronic control (FADEC) software versions from service and installing an updated EEC FADEC software that is eligible for installation. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

By agency, in a sentence

How these sentences are made

One machine-written sentence per agency, generated from the fields above and nothing else. Every numeral in a sentence has to appear in the source documents, checked by the same harness that gates our Consequence Cards.

A sentence that fails is withheld rather than published, so an agency with activity and no sentence here means the gate caught something. Copy carries attribution back to this page.
